The meaning of “LINES” will be different for different readers. For me, the poem will call to mind images of these famous places and experiences as well. When climbers hear the name “Perfecto Mundo,” they imagine a stunning valley in Catalunya. When they hear “Silence,” they imagine the world’s hardest climb in an enormous cave in Flatanger, Norway, and when they hear “Lucid Dreaming,” they imagine the towering boulders of Bishop, California.
